About Me
Wife. Crazy cat lady. School Psychologist. Whoavian. Infertile.
My husband and I started trying to conceive (TTC) in 2015 right after I turned 27 years old. In May 2016, I was diagnosed with Low AMH and at least one blocked tube. After one failed IUI and a laparoscopic surgery, I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis and I had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in the removal my right tube. By December my AMH had dropped from 1.3 to .17 giving me a diagnosis of premature ovarian failure. We've had two additional cancelled IUIs, and two failed IVFs. We traveled to CNY in Syracuse for donor eggs and our first FET took!
When not being constantly reminded of my infertility, I enjoy lounging around watching Netflix with my cats and husband. I'm a School Psychologist (not to be confused with a guidance counselor). I do not pretend to portray my journey with infertility as everyone's journey, but I'm sure many can relate to my feelings and struggles. |
